The More Things Change The More They Stay The Same.
Stop me if this sounds familiar to you.
It's a calm Saturday night.
The Sharks had won earlier.
Dinner was at American Burger (well, that's what Keith calls it,
we refer to the burger place by it's correct name, All Star Burger).
BadKitty was MIA (this time a trip to LA).
LAN Gaming was Counter Strike: Condition Zero - us against Bots.
16 against 4 are some pretty big odds. We spent most of the night
on the losing end. KrazyKarl must be getting better though. Bullets
were flying, people were dying, and after the dust settled, KK
would still be alive. Of course there were still a bunch of Bots
alive, and so KK's solo adventure would be short lived. (The more
pessimistic readers out there could attribute KK's survival to
the fact that he often strayed from the group, hanging out in the
ducts.)
The Funniest Moment of the Night Award goes to me and Bunny'sFan
(we always manage to crack ourselves up). This time we were discussing
IceCapades. Now IC isn't a very good hockey player. But the one
activity he is good at is stretching. Before every rollerhockey
game, he stretches out his whole body. Just watching him do his
back-bending stretches makes me hurt. KK thinks IC does the wrong
kind of stretching. IC should be doing extension stretches according
to KK, that is what most of our injuries are due to, from reaching
out to get to pucks. So then me and BF started practicing extension
stretches which we imagine would be like ballet poses. And we broke
down in laughter as we thought about stretching like that before
a game. You had to be there...
